One of the chief ways in which Giftaye is different from other companies that focus upon the gifting market is that they are committed to making the giving of the gift as memorable and special as the gift itself. The next step in the process allows the gift giver to choose to stream the delivery experience live or simply to record the experience. Whilst the company has experimented with using U Stream Solo to test this process and it has worked, the devices currently available for this type of streaming do not have front viewing. We ideally want the person being filmed to see themselves being filmed and to eventually add the sender of the experience. Consequently, Giftaye have entered into discussions with manufacturers in China with regards to developing bespoke streaming equipment which incorporates front viewing.
The platform also allows the gift giver to choose the way in which they want to have the gift delivered from a wide range of options. For example, a physical or experiential gift can be hand delivered by local partners including live artists, singers, magicians, choirs, chauffeurs, comedians, celebrities and many other options from a carefully curated list. Indeed, the delivery could actually be the gift with the only thing being delivered by a local partner being a birthday card, cake or birthday wishes.

In this way, Giftaye brings social interaction to gifting which will make gifting more meaningful, especially for those that cannot be there in person. Given the inherent virality of the videos created of gifts being delivered in new and interesting ways, we believe that Giftaye will create a phenomenon by introducing this idea of making the giving of the gift (usually a mundane activity in which a courier drops off a box) as memorable and special as the gift itself.
Once payment had been received in full, the order for the gift is placed with the relevant manufacturers, distributors, or retailers that were selling the item or experiential gift via our platform and delivered to Giftaye, and the relevant partners for the surprise delivery experience are also informed and schedules aligned.
